Udhayan is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film directed by debutant Chaplin. Starring Arulnithi, in his second film, alongside newcomer Praneetha, the film notably features musical score by saxophone player Kadri Gopalnath's son Manikanth Kadri. A Muthamizh Padaippagam production, it was started during Pongal 2011 and is expected to release later this year. Arulnidhi is playing double role for first time. Shruti Haasan has sung a song in this film.
