Hostel is a 2011 Hindi language film.
Made in Mumbai’s Bollywood, the film explores the psychology of ‘Ragging’ (Hazing/Initiation) and its disastrous effects on a student’s psyche. The film has been directed by writer-director Manish Gupta who has scripted Sarkar (2005) and has directed The Stoneman Murders (2009).
The film starring Vatsal Sheth, Tulip Joshi and Mukesh Tiwari was released worldwide on January 21, 2011.
